Of course, the photographic paper must also meet our requirements. We prefer the first-class Fuji Crystal DP II Professional Paper from Fujicolor. The combination of high-quality photographic processing and the first-class photographic paper ensures Saal Digital's reliable quality.
The colour fastness of this photo paper ensures long-lasting photo prints with photos that have extremely high image stability and pure whites that resist yellowing. It is perfect for professional prints, available in matte, glossy and silk finishes. The colours are striking, pure and vivid, and are extremely long-lasting. An ICC profile is also available for the finishes.
The FUJIFILM Crystal Archive DP II Silk paper provides a unique finish and texture thanks to the fine honeycomb structure.
When it comes to FineArt prints, the standards for paper are also high. So, the decision was made to use the renowned German company, Hahnemühle. Saal Digital combines the Hahnemühle Photo Rag® and FineArt Baryta papers with high-quality digital printing, ensuring razor-sharp images and impressive detail in the proven Saal Digital quality.
The FineArt Prints are available in different formats. You can also select the desired orientation (portrait or landscape). Furthermore, we provide separate ICC profiles for all FineArt finishes.
Hahnemühle Bamboo Natural Line is the world’s first FineArt inkjet paper made from 90% bamboo fibres, for a natural look and environmentally friendly paper production. Yes. Our photo prints deliver precise and natural colour reproduction thanks to calibrated production and genuine photographic paper. Keep in mind that screens use backlight (RGB) while prints use light‑reflecting surfaces (CMYK), so photos may appear slightly darker than on your monitor.
💡 Tip: To preview how your images will look when printed, professionals can download our ICC profiles and perform soft‑proofing in software such as Photoshop or Lightroom.

To make sure your Photo Prints look exactly as you expect, check that the aspect ratio of your image matches the selected print format. Double‑clicking on a chosen image in the designer opens a detail window that shows where image data might be missing or where white borders could appear.
When cropping, you can choose between two format settings: standard mode (cropped), where the image is trimmed to fit the print size, and individual mode (uncropped), where borders are added to maintain your full image.
